Hello, I am quite new to using Alteryx, but I have been enjoying the lessons so far. There is quite a lot of information to take in and was wondering if anyone had any advice that helped to truly understand this software. Moreover, what features does Alteryx has that other software such as excel can not do?
Hi @angelVo18
I'm glad that you're enjoying the interactive lessons! I think those are really valuable. If you want to put your Alteryx skills to the test, I would suggest giving weekly challenges a go. Start with the ones labelled beginner and work your way through. These provide a fun way to use Alteryx and also allow you to learn how others may approach the same problem.

hey @angelVo18
Great to hear you're enjoying Alteryx!
Features that it has over something like Alteryx is a question I could answer all day! It really is a fantastic platform for everything data. Excel is a very time-consuming process.
I would recommend running through the interactive learning and workflow examples to help understand how Alteryx can be used for you!
Be sure to have a look around the community - its really a fantastic place for learning. A couple of resources I would especially recommend knowing about are:
I hope you find Alteryx to be easy to learn, and intuitive to use. Do remember that almost every tool has an example workflow and help documentation if you right click the tool in the tool palette:
("Help" for the tool documentation, "Open Example" for the example workflow).
And be sure to search for/ask for help on the community if you get stuck. Alternatively, feel free to drop me a message here on the community!
