Alteryx Joins in SQL - question about anti joins

Hi folks - is the 'L' output anchor of a join tool the same thing as the output from a LEFT ANTI JOIN in SQL?

Similarly, is the 'R' output anchor the same thing as RIGHT ANTI JOIN in SQL?

Just want to confirm my understanding... thanks!!
