Alteryx Desktop Automation

Hi,

One of my colleagues has trial licenses for Alteryx Desktop Automation. Will the scheduler work on the non-admin designer or he needs to download the Admin version of the same - for which username and password are required which he doesn't have as he doesn't have an account in the community and is just using the trial version?

Can someone help me with the installation guide?

Hi @lalitsankhla

Yes that's correct. It's needed to downloaded from license portal and licence key should be activated in the Alteryx designer.

You would need a licensed admin version to set up desktop schedulers.

Does the admin version need to be downloaded from the license portal, as the user has only the trial licenses and doesn't really have an account on the licenses and download portal?
