Alteryx Designer version issue

Hi Everyone

I have recently join a company where my colleague are already using Alteryx designer of 2021 version. I was told to get the same version installed on my laptop so that nobody in the team get any higher version or features which will block the others to edit the file save with higher version.

If I try to download and installed the trail version and then updated the license key would I down grade to lower version. Please can someone suggest me how to overcome this version issue.
