Alteryx Designer suddenly super slow

Hey people,

my Alteryx is suddenly super slow. It takes 10 minutes for a super easy workflow. This suddenly happened overnight, the day before it did the same - and much more complicated - workflows in under 30 seconds... You can see my workflow in the picture attached. The input is a quite small excel chart with just 2500 entries. The same chart I used when it took 30 secounds a day ago.

Hi,

I would start with deleting the temp folder + restart your pc. If this didn't help I would reinstall alteryx. 

Maybe you can also run the antivirus program? 

I am not an IT specialist but it is possible that someone is mining cryptocurrencies during the night 😛

Nah I dont even know how to mine... I am absolutly new to Programming 😄 Where can I find the temp folder?

The location of files depends on if you have admin vs non-admin. You can refer to this link for more information:

Also, are you running a lot of other processes locally? This may be competing for processing power and thus making things slower.

Thanks again @echuong1 I had the non-admin, requesting IT to install new ones!
