After Run With Error: No email sent

Question

Hello, I have a workflow scheduled and I have an 'After Run With Errors' event set up to email when a workflow fails to run successfully.  I've noticed that I have not been receiving an email when the job fails.

Has anyone ran into this and how do you resolve?  TIA

You need to unclick the Authentication check box.  Switch the Encryption to None.  and Change the From email address to match your server's email address.  It should be something like noreply-alteryx@company.net.  Make sure the SMTP matches the address for your server as well.

Are you trying to run this from Server or desktop?  I get that last error when I try to run a workflow from desktop.

When I have the event setup to run from Server, the server will send from it's own email.  So, I don't have to fill in the Username and Password or have the Authentication set.  The From is just noreply-alteryx@(Company).net
