Adding the title of a document into a specific field on matching data

Hi,

I am hoping that the community can help me again.

I use Alteryx to upload manifests into a large inventory, part of this is adding the manifest title into the “Manifest Title” column of the inventory. As well as adding the manifest date into a column of the same name. (The manifest date is within the title).

is it possible to do this so it automatically pulls the information from the title? At the moment I use the formula tool to manually add the title and date to the manifest spreadsheet before the join.

thanks,

Dan

Hey @DanMBrx, by title, do you mean the File's name? If so, you can select this option in the Input Data tool which will bring this into the data itself:

If not, are you able to provide an example of what you have and what you need to get to? Thanks!
