Adding chart image to a PowerPoint template

Hi all,

After long research I was able to find how to edit strings in a PPT template from the workflow. But I also have a requirement to add charts to the slides. I tried replacing the {{charts}} placeholder with the Layout (which is a string as I have added the Report text to the layout.) When I try to open the xml output file, it shows me that the file needs to be repaired. I understand that there has been some issues with the workflow. Please guide me.
