Add rows to existing column

Question

I need to add Balance, Reclass (Placeholder 1), Reclass (Placeholder 2), Reclass (Placeholder 3) and Reclass (Placeholder 4) so I was using below formula using Formula tool but unable to add data to existing Column Ending Balance.

[Balance] +[Reclass (Placeholder 1)] + [Reclass (Placeholder 2)] + [Reclass (Placeholder 3)] + [Reclass (Placeholder 4)]

Could Someone help me in this. I think this simple formula should work, but it isn't working.

Please add ToNumber function

Its working in the sample file shared.

[Balance]+
ToNumber([Reclass (Placeholder 1)])+

ToNumber([Reclass (Placeholder 2)])+

ToNumber([Reclass (Placeholder 3)])+
ToNumber([Reclass (Placeholder 4)])
