Add dates to Text Report tool ready for email

Question

Hi,

I'm trying to add two different date fields to the text tool and expect to see it shows up correctly in the email once workflow finishes running (please see below). Run date is the time the workflow is run. Recs Date is the date picked up from the files' name.

Unfortunately the tool doesn't seem to pick up values from these fields. Any idea is very much appreciated!

Hi @anhdo92

If you need the Dates output in a specific format, you'll need to generate these outside of the Report Text tool.  I used a Formula tool to create 2 "Display" fields and used those in the report text

do you see the expected result, if you attach a Browse tool to the output anchor of the Report Text tool?
