Action tool connected to Directory is not replacing default path with user entered path

Question

I am using text box, action and directory tools to get all the files in the path entered by the user. There is a default path in the directory tool.

When I run the wf as an analytical app, the default path is being processed instead of the path I have entered in the text box in AA.

I have attached the configuration of the action and directory tools.

Can anybody help out with this?

@binu_acs--- you skipped the other question from our playbook...

@saachitalwar--- when you run your app---- are you running via the standard workflow run --- or the analytic app wand?

if it's the later --- and you are seeing this behavior triple check that the specific string you are replacing in your action tool is the same as the string in the value of your action tool.

it should work if both the paths are the same. Can you try your local folders instead of the shared drive? You can use the workflow I provided, just remove the folder browser tool and the connected action tool and only use the text tool
