I have used Text Input Tool and entered some date values, and tried to convert them from string to date values, but the new column does not show the format that I need.... Please see the attached screenshot.

@smrithiraj I am a bit confused.It seems just working fine.The yyyy-mm-dd is the date format of Alteryx.If you want the date format to be something other than "CREATE_DTE" and "CREATE_DTE_NEW", we can use another DateTime tool to do it but it will not the Date Format for Alteryx.
I see it now... How do I convert this to a real Date type ?
@smrithiraj What you have in the "CREATE_DTE_NEW" column is the "real" date format for Atlteryx.
