Hi everybody!

Iam quite new to Alteryx, however iam using time series at the moment i.e ETS or ARIMA.

I would like to know where one could find more detailed information regarding the manual options and what impact they will have on my forecast curve!

Kind regards//

S

Hi there!

Two options that I can think of right now:

1. Go to Alteryx toolbar --> Time Series --> Right-click on ARIMA tool and then Help; Right-click on ETS tool and then Help

This will bring you to documentation that you will find helpful

(you can also click on Help --> Sample Workflows --> Predictive tool samples)

2. https://www.udacity.com/course/predictive-analytics-for-business-nanodegree--nd008

Udacity - Predictive Analytics for Business nano degree collaboration by Alteryx & Tableau

(there might be some free/ intro components that will help Or take the nano degree. I found it to be helpful)

All the best!

Hi Mckjoko,

I recommend having a look at the following free course on Udacity:  https://www.udacity.com/course/time-series-forecasting--ud980.  It's a great resource for how to use the tools in Alteryx but also offers external links for more information regarding ETS and ARIMA.

Hi!

Thanks for the reply!

1) The first thing you mentioned "Right-click on ETS tool and then Help" this i have done however i seek more detailed knowledge.

The option regarding "sample workflow" i haven't tried, going to do that now :)

2) Udacity, just check their webpage and their courses and it looks really promising!

Have you taken any of these courses?

All the best!

@Mckjoko ,

No problem; my pleasure.

Yes, I took the nano-degree for Business Analyst (I think it's now the Predictive course); worth every dollar.

Try this link as well https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Alteryx-Knowledge-Base/Performing-Time-Series-Forecasting-in-Altery...

Good luck!
