There are three methods to get the value of the interface tool:
1. Workflow Constant (i.e. %Question.<Name>%)
2. Action Tool
3. Connect to the question anchor of a tool (i.e. [#1])
All of these three methods work perfectly when normal engine is used:
However, when AMP engine is used, only the [Action Tool] method works:
I am using Alteryx Designer 2020.4 and find that the same issue happens in the version 2020.2 and 2020.3 too.
My questions:
1. Is it a normal behavior of AMP engine?
2. Does it mean I can only use the [Action Tool] method to get the interface tool value? I am currently using 200+ interface tools in my app, and get the values by the [Workflow Constant] method, I don't want to change the method.
Thank you.

Hi @CharlieNg
Thank you for the early feedback on the new AMP Engine. We are working hard to address issues that our customers are finding now that AMP is available.
Thank you for providing a workflow package to reproduce the issue. I was able to reproduce the issue in the 2020.4 Release version.
I have tried it on our most recent build and I am not able to reproduce the issue.
We have a feature in progress that is related to Analytic App functionality with AMP Engine so that likely fixed the issue. It is planned for release in the 2021.1 version.
Since you are using the new AMP Engine, I also wanted to share some helpful links to available documentation about AMP Engine:
