if I have a column called "Year_Month" and the data is in string format such as:

 

2023_09

2023_10

2024_02

2023_11

2024_04

 

how would I convert these to dates:

2023_09_01

2023_10_01

2024_02_01

2023_11_01

2024_04_01

Try this in a Formula tool:

 

ToDate(ReplaceChar([Orig Date], "_", "-") + "-01")
