how to convert yyyy*mm*dd*HH:MM:SS to yyyy*mm*dd*HH:MM:SS.sss in ALteryx recipe.

I have date value created using NOW('America/Newyork') function which gives the date value in yyyy*mm*dd*HH:MM:SS format.

I need to publish the data to a snowflake table with time format in yyyy*mm*dd*HH:MM:SS.sss format.

While performing target mapping, the date datatypes are not matching and hence I am not able to run the flow.

I have manually tried to change the datatype of the date column but the value still does not have milliseconds.

Hi @SruthyS2019

You can add milliseconds onto an existing DateTime using the below formula in the recipe step, note the milliseconds have to be in uppercase:

You should then get this result, in a DateTime data type:

davidskaife_1-1758705306978.png

Does this help?
