Format is not preserved when I use the file path as a name.

Whenever I write an output to dynamically name a new file with the Preserve Formatting on Overwrite selected (with specific range) the formatting is overwritten. Is there a way around this?

That is the way to do it - can you show us that you've specified a range in your output path?

I have attached a screenshot of the output configuration.

Thanks!

So you have defined a range in your [File Path] column?

Yes. It will paste over the formatting for the rows with data, but keep the formatting for rows without data.

Can you show us your Formula?

You need to "Change Entire File Path" in your Output Data tool if you are defining the whole path in the Formula 😊

That is still producing the same result. The field names are formatted then the actual data removes the formatting. But then the blank rows are also formatted.

At this stage then without seeing your workflow, it'll be hard to help further - those settings on my side work perfectly to preserve the formatting that already exists in the Excel file
