Export Alteryx workflow?

Hello Alteryx Community,

I'm relatively new to Alteryx and I'm wondering if it's possible to export Alteryx workflows in XML format. I came across some information online suggesting this might be possible, but I wanted to confirm with the community here.

If exporting to XML is indeed supported, could you please provide some guidance on how to do it? And if not, are there any alternative methods for achieving a similar outcome?

Thank you in advance for your help and insights!

Thanks.

Hi @sri_yalamanchili,

Does your use case require XML format, specifically? If not, then would downloading the workflow as JSON do the job? Here are the steps:

  1. Log in to AACP
  2. Click the Library tab
  3. Filter or otherwise locate the flow of interest
  4. Hover over the flow and click the context menu over on the right (i.e., looks like a column of three dots)
  5. Click the 'Download' option
  6. Note: there is also an 'Upload' button in the top-right corner

See screenshot, attached.

HI @nkuipers

It's a great news. It seems that I missed this improvement that was released on last September. Thank you for your notification.
