Import Certificate for Connect after installation

RafaelZincke

Hi Community,

I am trying to import a certificate for Alteryx Connect. I looked into the articles 1 and 2 but it does not work. I can reach Connect without https and I opened up the 443 port. I also changed the server.xml. The keystore and the certificate have the same password.

I have a certificate with .cer and converted it into .pfx.

Do I have to turn something on within Connect? I also changed the base URL but is there something else?

I do not know if SSL enabled during the installation.

Thank you!

Best regards,

Rafael

Hi @RafaelZincke ,

those articles are quite old and obsolete.

Could you please follow https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Alteryx-Connect-Knowledge-Base/How-To-Enable-SSL-in-the-Connect-Ins... and https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Alteryx-Connect-Knowledge-Base/How-To-Import-a-PFX-Certificate/ta-p...  .

Eventually please reach out to Customer Support.
