Deployment from Alteryx Connect Dev Instance to Production

Hi Team,

Is there a way we can just deploy what we have build in Dev Instance of Alteryx Connect to Production Instance ?

As per my understanding , currently the content needs to be rebuild in the Production Environment

Hi @geetikagupta ,

you can follow backup and restore scenario which is described in Alteryx Connect Help

Or you can simply copy the whole ac_work & index directories from DEV to production server.

Is there a way that we can migrate only some of the stuff that we want.

The backup and restore would offer the possibility to migrate everything , but I need to migrate only a part of the content.

Hi @geetikagupta ,

it depends which type of content you would like to migrate. I would say the easiest & fastest way is to clone environment as described above and then remove content which is not needed. Be aware that in case it's loaded content via metadata loaders you need to also clean up respective staging data.
