Sure, this would be possible. 

My recommendation would be to use one of the existing metaloaders as a template and modify it from there.

Hi all,

what suggest @JoeS  is definitely the best start (and easiest) because when you fit in the current datasets you can re-use the rest of infrastructure (loading job definition & presentation in Connect).
