Issues in creating segments to get more granular insights

Issue

My data does not allow me to have lots of segments to get more granular insights on Auto Insights. 

Cause

Often data is aggregated in source systems, so that multiple segments are actually contained within 1 field in a format such as; Level 1 data – Level 2 Data – Level 3 Data.

Resolution

Using the Text To Columns tool, you can split this information out into multiple fields. Simply define the delimiter (‘-‘ in the example) and the number of fields you expect. This now means that you can understand changes at both a high level (Level 1) and at a granular level.
