AAH Worker stopped and worker license expired

The AAH environment stopped working. The Engine Worker log show the following or similar error:

Error,a84f4dba-1d49-4b06-98d1-b67c8d0f6036,8336,60,,,,"Heartbeat failed"
System.Net.Http.HttpRequestException: The SSL connection could not be established, see inner exception.
 ---> System.Security.Authentication.AuthenticationException: The remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure.

The Worker will have status "Stopped"


The Worker SSL / TLS certificate is expired or invalid. 

AAH requires a valid Worker SSL / TLS certificate to enable communication to the Worker.


Request a certificate. This is typically handled by a team within your IT.
The certificate needs to be signed with a Common Name (CN) that matches the main domain and a Subject Alternative Name (SAN) that matches any domain(s) the server will be accessed by.
The recommendation is to use only Public CA signed certificates in a Product Environment. However, alternatively a certificate can be signed by your internal CA if applicable or self-signed.
