Happy New Year Alteryx Community! We closed out 2018 with a bang, and are already off to a fantastic start in 2019. As you start 2019 with New Year's resolutions and new beginnings in tow, I want to thank every single Alteryx Community member for your contributions. You all have such an impact on what makes this Community special.
How many times have you said to yourself or preached to your co-workers "I really just wish I had more time!" or "If there were just more hours in the day!" or my personal favorite "When is human cloning going to be ready?..."
For the past several years we've run a little contest during the month of December called #SANTALYTICS. Before we introduce this years challenge, I figured it would be good to provide a bit of history on this very special Alteryx Community tradition.
For me, 2018 was the year of presenting at Alteryx Inspire(s) and it might surprise you that it was the first time that I stepped out of my comfort zone and got on stage in front of 300+ Alteryx enthusiasts in both Anaheim and London! I hope that over the next 5 minutes of you reading this I can inspire you to submit your demo tape, jump on stage, and rock out in front of hundreds of supportive Alteryx Inspire attendees at Inspire 2019 in Nashville.
One year ago we launched developers.alteryx.com - a one-stop shop for coders interested in extending the Alteryx platform. Here you can converse with peers as well as Alteryx developers on Dev Space, get quickly linked to API/SDK Help Docs and the Alteryx Github page, and browse developer blogs. It's been an eventful year, so stick with us for highlights, top contributors, and of course no birthday is complete without presents!
With October in the rear view it’s only fitting that we acknowledge our rockstar top contributors yet again – and extend a big thank you for all the collaboration and knowledge sharing they, and every member of our Community, take part in on a daily basis.
In anticipation of our upcoming Women of Analytics panel luncheon at Inspire Europe 2018, I sat down with Alteryx co-founder and Chief Customer Officer, Olivia Duane Adams, for a chat about the Women of Analytics initiative here at Alteryx.
Being an ACE is hard. I often times think, “what the heck am I doing even being associated with these brilliant people." It’s intimidating, because somehow I was able to get to this point and I should know everything.
