Community news, customer stories, and more!

On October 24th, we went live with the early-release of the Alteryx Developer Community — your gateway to build, extend and customize Alteryx products and solutions.

Since then, nearly 450 of you visited the site, and many of you submitted valuable feedback that we incorporated into what's available today:

  1. More SDKs to help you build the analytic tools of your dreams
  2. Better Documentation and resources
  3. Opportunities to discover, collaborate, and innovate with other developers

Check. Check. And Check.

Today, we are excited to introduce our greater community of users to what we've been working on over the past several weeks.

Build the analytics tools of your dreams

Along with the 11.7 release, came a select set of improvements to the developer tools. The HTML GUI SDK is now fully released, and the Python SDK has moved to beta.

For a summary on what's new (& old) when it comes to Developer Tools, check out @RithiS's blog — Overview of Alteryx Developer Platform!

Better documentation

To enable you to use these new features, you will also see many additions to the developer online help:

  • Python SDK documentation (finally!)
  • Documentation for version 2 of the HTML GUI SDK
  • Break downs of custom tool configurations
  • Instructions to utilize the Chrome debugger to debug your GUI code

Discover, collaborate, and innovate

In addition to being the place to connect with other like-minded Alteryx developers, the new Developer forum is where you go to ask questions, get feedback, and share the things you’ve created to push the boundaries of what you thought was possible with Alteryx.

Do you have questions about the Alteryx Gallery API? Looking for help with building a custom tool? Are you ready to share a bad ass connector you created with the Community? These are all great examples of how you can leverage Dev Space.

developers.alteryx.com is your one-stop shop to finding everything you need for Alteryx platform extensibility. If you want to build for Alteryx, bring your questions and curiosity to the Developer Community!
