Remote web activation of alteryx workflow?

Hi guys,

I'm working with designer and scheduler, and was looking for a way to be able to kick off a process remotely somehow. eg throwing a webhook or message from an external application so it can trigger a command line running of my workflow or something similar.

Anyone dabbled with such heresy?

Love to hear if you have. Likewise equally happy to be told Im just barking so I can go back to the day job.

Hi @warrencowan - I would recommend to consider upgrade to Alteryx Server, which offers multiple API endpoints. You may read more here:

Thnx @ArtApa but i was looking for a method that i could implement as i dont have 80,000 dollars a year.

Have you had a look at AlteryxEngine APIs,

The AlteryxEngine API can be used to programmatically execute designer workflows.

Is Alteryx server license required to use the AlteryxEngine APIs features or is Alteryx Designer license sufficient.

An Alteryx Server license will be required for that functionality.
