While migrating Alteryx secondary server, do we have to follow the same MongoDB recover steps that is performed for Primary server migration.

I`m not sure I understood your questions. Could you please expand on it?

What is your secondary server, is it a worker node or a DEV/Sandbox server? What do you exactly mean by migrating? Making a copy of your server on another machine?

Yes, Worker node we are trying to migrate from old to new server, while doing primary node migartion we followed Mongodb recover step, should we follow the same for worker node too

Hi @fmvizcaino ,We couldn't able to find the AlteryxServerBackup.bat file in worker node server, so how can we configure Mongo DB to worker node server, please advice

Understood, thanks for clarifying it.

The answer is no, you don`t have to do the same steps on your worker nodes. The worker nodes don`t have a database (MongoDB), so you only have to copy and paste some files.

Copy all files from old worker node - link above
Install new worker node
Paste/replace files on new worker node folders
Open Alteryx System Settings and see if connection with the controller node was made
Done!

No, the host recovery is only for the controller node where MongoDB is installed.

For the worker nodes, you should worry more about the ODBC drivers, R and PYthon packages, Alteryx connectors installed, etc. Mostly things used in your workflows.
