Copying a Production server to another server

Hello All,

1) having 1 production server

2) acquire a new license to setup a new server

3) need to copy the production server to new server (need to migrate/copy all the data inc. MongoDB, Workflows, data connection and everything)

my question is to perform steps 3 do i need to follow only

Server Host Recovery Guide or any other steps also needed

Hi @Arnab_b ,

The host recovery contains everything you will need. Be aware that you have to install the same Alteryx Server version on your new server.

Be careful with the steps related to the Runtimesettings file. They are very important, and they can be a bit confusing to understand if you don`t read carefully.
