Server Service Starting....then Stopping

My server went down and when I try to restart it goes from Starting....to Stopping. I get this error from the LastStartupError.txt file

Mongo error: "SCRAM Failure: ICU required to SASLPrep password: generic server error" code: <mongodb:29>

Any ideas?

Check if MongoDB’s passwords have been changed in the Alteryx parameters.

We have seen this yesterday ... but we don't understand how these passwords have been changed because it was not a manual action.

@PatPli I ended up reinstalling a backup and the password when back to normal. Dont ask me why or what. This new version of Server is full of bugs.

We had this issue in October 2024. We had to open a support ticket with Alteryx support to resolve the issue. What happens is that there is corruption in the local MongoDB. You can validate that this is an issue by Staring the Alterys System Settings application, going to the "Persistence" panel. If you click on the view button to show the Admin Password you will see symbols instead of letters and numbers.

We worked with a support engineer to backup and rebuild the MondDB. Once that was completed and we created a new token for our additional worker node everything worked.

Server version: 2023.1

OS: Windows Server

Additional Configuration: One additional worker node
