Sharepoint Connector - Credentials lost

Hello,

We are using the sharepoint connector for some of our workflows.

Running locally and on server, with the System user, works fine.

In the team, if a developer downloads from the gallery a workflow from a colleague, that download looses all the credentials, and we have to maintain each Sharepoint process.

I am talking about dozens of sharepoint process's in one single workflow, multiplied by each workflow.

From a collaborative point of view, this is not good.

What we are missing so that the downloaded workflow also contains the needed credentials?

it is a pain, but it's also a security prevention measure that's being added into their tools that have a login/auth token requirement. It's to ensure that if someone gets their hand on a workflow with this tool, that they won't be able to reconfigure the tool to access data that they should NOT have access to. This is why it requires re-authentication anytime it's downloaded... to ensure any reconfiguration is based on what the active user is allowed to see.

Does stink for collaboration purposes, but it seems that Alteryx decided that the risk outweighs the benefit.
