Error handling - Customized readable error message at Alteryx Gallery

Hi Alteryx Engineer,

Is there any way we can customize the native error message to readable one and display at the output preview? for example, below error is caused by some of the file is opened, can we customized to xxxx file is opened causing this error, plz close the file and re run the workflow? and print out to the output preview?

Wanna print the customized message to this output preview

Hi @187 ,

Unfortunately, there isn`t a way to customize the error messages that are automatically created by the tools.

You do have the option though, to create your own error messages with the help of the Message Tool. https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Alteryx-Designer-Desktop-Knowledge-Base/Tool-Mastery-Message/ta-p/36308

We used Message tool before and it can only generate the message mixed within the log/console, our user is not technical guy and can't dive into the logs and find out , is there any way we can display the customized message only at the output preview page?
