Add cores to Alteryx Server vertical scaling

Hello Friends,

We have a 4 core windows machine for our production setup and recently we purchased additional 2 seats which is 4 cores for scaling vertical. can someone give me instructions on how to add new license key. below is my understanding, can someone confirm

1. upgrade the windows machine by adding additional 2 cores to make it 6 cores

2. just apply the new license key

do we have to download anything and run on top of the existing install or just update/add the new key.

can someone explain in detail

Hi @skandhala

You can just activate the license key and replace the old one.

You will not need to install anything else from the Alteryx side.
