Alteryx Server Persistence Options clarification question

I recently took over our Alteryx Server administration and had a question about the Persistence Options.

What is contained in the "results" of the "Delete queue and results after(days)" line? I read the help documentation, but this isn't answered.

Is the data generated(brows tools, output files, etc...) by a workflow fall under the "results" in that line?

What I mean by data is the actual data generated by the workflow. Our workflows can access confidential data that we aren't permitted to store that data on the server.

Yes, actual data generated by the workflow (excluding browse tools). All stored in Mongo DB.
