Do I need to download the Server, when downloading Designer?

Hi,

Sorry for the simple question, but we are just demo-ing Alteryx here at Disney. Do I need to download the Server to use and test Designer? They seem to be bundled together, but I do not want to confuse other testers on my team, who just want to test the functionality of Designer.

Hi @bresejo,

You do not need to download Server to use the designer. We have installer that's only for Designer. For the Designer trial, you can download from here.

Hi, i have only managed to download the "designer" for trial - 30 days.But i want to start using C# to call API , is the "Server" is free ? and part of the 30 days trial ? it seems not! as per https://help.alteryx.com/developer-help/gallery-api-overview need a server
