Unable to open Marco - The tool ID [ ] is not in the document.

I was trying to open up a macro to edit an input. However I got the below message and it wont open. I tied to recover auto saved file, but no files were autosaved. The .bak for the workflow was froom last month.

Is there a way that I can do to at least open this up in Alteryx designer to fix this issue?

I have faced similar issue

you open your macro in notepad and search for that particular tool ID and delete it

then your macro runs

do you mind to elaborating a little? I was searching " toolID="2" " when opening up the notepad and could not find this.

check as tool id
