Incorrect Alteryx version being opened

Hi all,

I had to download the admin version of Alteryx designer 2020.1 form the license portal. However, every time I click on the shortcut that was created, it opens up a screen telling me it is opening 2021.2 and then it opens nothing. Any reason for this?

Have you uninstalled the previous version?

Try to uninstall all alteryx then install the admin 2020.1 again

I guess I was over complicating things. It was just an uninstall and reinstall. There were multiple versions of Alteryx installed that I had to remove.
