Alteryx connect vs Master data Management

Hi,

This question is for all the Alteryx users who know how Alteryx connect works

We are trying to build a Master Data Management platform so that we have one source of truth to the customer records, However i am not sure how Alteryx can help me out here so, during my research found that Alteryx connect platform can help us build this Master Data Management platform

Questions are:

1. How does this platform work ? is this a separate web app that we need to install along with server ?

2. Do we have to build a workflow for the MDM or this product takes in all the data sources and builds a MDM platform for us ?

Since this is a new product any insights is appreciated

You’d still need to build the mastering workflows in Designer/Server, then use Connect to catalog and my wisely share the “golden” dataset.
