Fuzzy Matching requires a record ID. We'll put a seperate RecordID for each stream so records from the same row can be identified later.
Join the data back on and deselect fields
Because we are fuzzy matching 2 seperate data streams, and not matching data against itself (i.e. identifying duplicates), we will need to use Merge Mode in the Fuzzy Match tool, which requires a Source field (can be called anything)

Since Fuzzy Matching Requires at least 1 field to have key generation, create a constant field where key generation will be used, but no match pairs will be lost.

FUZZY MATCH CONFIGURATION
We are interested in comparing one column of data against the other (i.e. Merge Mode). We want the data from the same row to be compared to eachother and receive a match score. We also want every row to appear in the results. Fuzzy matching traditionaly contains individual field Match Thresholds, an Overall Match Threshold, and Key Generation to exclude potential matches. Therefore, the Fuzzy Match tool in this workflow has a Match Style of "Custom" where Key Generation is turned off and the individual field Match Threshold is set to 0. The Overall Match Threshold was also set to 0. Since fuzzy matching in Alteryx requires at least 1 field in the tool to use Key Generation, a constant field has been added with a match style that uses Key Generation. Lastly, the option to output Match Score was selected.
