Alteryx data flow

Hi, I am new to Alteryx and was wondering about the data flow. We have alteryx designer set up on a VDI in our data center. The database is sitting in another datacenter in a private cloud and the fileshare (where the data is being landed from the Database) is in Azure.

there is network connectivity between all 3 data centers. If the Alterxy job send the data through where the job is submitted or should it go directly from the Database to the fileshare (as coded).

HI @msmi003 If you are able to utilise the in DB tools this could help minimise masses of data moving between the 3 networks it ouwld essentially allow for the data base to manipulate the data and push it to the file share directly rather than having to flow through your VDI
