Sorting Bar Chart Labels

Question

Hi,

I am trying to sort the y-axis labels such that you have 1.1, 2.0, 3.1, 3.2. 10.1, 12.2, 4.1. 8.1, 8.2. Unfortunately, Alteryx is applying a different sorting mechanism and I don't know how to override. See sample workflow attached. Can someone pls help?

Many thanks Taylor. Unfortunately, the taxonomy values need to be string. They typically read 1.0 Biology, 3.1. Maths etc. Apologies my initial workflow wasn't that clear. I have updated it.

Hi @SylviaK ,

Attached is your updated workflow. In order for Alteryx to properly sort the Taxonomy values I had to switch the data type to numeric double. Once I re-configured the Chart tool, it properly sorted the axis to be in Ascending order.
