Reading protected excel file

Question

Dear community,

I would like to ask how can we read the protected excel file in alteryx?

I have tried to look for resource and they use R tools to to read the data. I keep having the error as below :

Hence, would like to ask if there is any other way to read the protected excel file? Or do anyone know how to fix the error above?

Run Alteryx as Admin. It's telling you it can't write the required R package to the proper directory. I usually would get around this by using RTools as a package manager and installing to that location. Alteryx as Admin should work.
