Analytic App - Optional Input

Hello,

I am trying to build an analytic app for different entities and want to make it optional for each input. I thought the best way to go about this would be using a tool container with 2 different actions: one for the enable/disable and one for the file browse. I attached the basic concept of what I am trying to do but I am running into an issue where I am being required to select an input file - is there a way to not require it?

Yes.

you have to un-check the "required" box on the action tool leading into your input data tool - when the action tool is configured in update input data tool mode.

Thank you ! I had the action tool set to update value instead of update input data tool which was causing the issue!
