Hide depreciated tools / missing tool

I have recently downloaded the Periodic Table of Alteryx tools and found that for whatever reason I do not have the Select Records tool on my toolbar.  I right clicked the tool bar and it gives as an option "Hide depreciated tools."  Does this have something to do with the missing tool?

It's not a deprecated tool and you may just not have it visible in your tool palette. Clicking the + icon to the far right of your tool palette will allow you to customize what tools are shown.

 

Also, the Search option is always available to show you EVERY tool available, hidden or not.
