Ive got access to a JSON file that I would love to be able to pass to a table or database
I have used the JSON parser and its got me started but I feel like it needs to have iterations of splitting the data into a table, so that it would have columns like meetings, races, entries etc
The data comes from a URL that might only be able to be accessed from New Zealand so I have added the json file (i had to add it as a zip to add it) and my Alteryx flow so far.
Really keen to understand whats the best practice around processing this type of file with Alteryx as I have a few very similar json files just with different subject matter in it ,
I don't even mind if I have to do alot of one off assigning to pull out exactly what I need (I have some python that does something very similar but excited to see what I can do in alteryx.
In the end I will have a folder with many of these files for 1 day , as I will extract every 5mins and save, and I want to be able to put it into a database so that I can do analysis on it such as how an item has changed across time etc.
Really keen to understand if Alteryx is even the most suitable product for this or if im not the wrong path.
Cheers in advance
Rob
(ps im still a newbie but really loving the software so far, have been able to speed up data to insights with the workflows)
