Simba MongoDB ODBC Driver

I downloaded the Simba MongoDB ODBC driver from https://help.alteryx.com/20214/designer/mongodb. I installed it, but I cannot find the option for Simba MongoDB ODBC Driver or MongoDB ODBC Simba Driver in the data connections. Is there any reason that the option is not available in the data connections?

what happens when you click mongodb quick connect?

It opens the following image. I don't see any option for Simba ODBC.

O.k. - for now assume that the ODBC driver isn't needed or used in the connection between MongoDB and Alteryx.

The issue is that I need the MongoDB ODBC driver because my MongoDB is on-premise. MongoDB URI connection is not working either. That is the reason that I am trying to connect to MongoDB using ODBC drivers.

The current version of Designer only provides the "Quick Connect" option. For the ODBC connection option, you can use the "Generic Connection" present on Data Source (see bellow)
