How about this

ToString(Round([Number]-5000, 10000)) + '-' +
ToString(Round([Number]+5000, 10000))

AND

ToString(Round([Number]-5000, 10000)/1000) + 'K - ' +
ToString(Round([Number]+5000, 10000)/1000) + 'K'

If all your groups are equal sizes, I would use something like this:

tostring(floor([Number]/10000)*10000)+"-"+tostring(ceil([Number]/10000)*10000)

This gives you the first group, or you can edit it for the second format.

AND

ToString(Round([Number]-5000, 10000)/1000) + 'K - ' +
ToString(Round([Number]+5000, 10000)/1000) + 'K'
