Migrate subscriptions to collections

How do different users replace the same work flow in a collection?

If I attempt to "replace workflow" of workflow created by a different user I don't get that option?

As far as I can tell to replace the workflow in the collection without having a shared subscription, I need to publish to my private studio ,add workflow to collection and remove the original workflow, losing any connection to existing schedules.

I'm obviously missing something, but Gallery User and asset sharing is new to me.

Appreciate any help.

As far as I know, Alteryx Server currently can't replace workflows if you are not included in a shared studio.

That statement is for preparing ourselves for that migration, but I don't know how Alteryx server will look after the studio removal.

In the above link, we have the following statement "Access to the replace workflow functionality depends on your collection permissions and the settings of the workflow as determined by the workflow owner." but it doesn't seem to be working currently. (or I don't know how to properly set this up).
