Unable to create columns when using Excel formulas

Hi,

I wish to create some columns in Alteryx for my testing by referencing with some of the Excel formulas i used in the Excel spreadsheet e.g. Vlookup, index, trim, etc, I some how stuck!

I have detailed the samples of my issues together with some Excel function workaround in the attached word document and hope some one can assist me.

Hi @DouglasEKL 

So you want to recreate vlookup in Alteryx. Try using the Find Replace tool. If you share these datasets I can do it for you, but I don't want to spend time mocking up data.

But if you just want to look up manager and essentially join on Employee Number to the Admin Only dataset then the Find Replace tool will do this well.
