Alterys Designer has stopped working

Alteryx Designer x64 2021.3 threw an error this morning 09/14/2021. Will not load just pops a message and offers a Close the program button!!

Anyone experienced similar issues?

For me, the programme suddenly closes. I tried with different workflows or just having it open, but after a few seconds, it shuts down. Same for my colleagues.

Same here. Designer won't stay open for more than a couple seconds- doesn't matter if I have a workflow open or just a blank canvas. I've even re-installed the latest version of Designer and restarted my computer, but that didn't make a difference either.

Same here with alteryx 2021.2...we have 40+ users and so far it looks like all of us are impacted...

2021.3 - Down here as well... Won't even open.

2021.2 also not working here. However, 2019.3 seems to work.

Yep, same here. Most if not all of our designers are down. Similar symptoms as already described. 2021.2

I've also had this issue today with 2019.2.7 (I found it on another machine and tested it out of curiosity).

Also seeing the same issue on 2020.4 and 2021.2. We are able to get it to open and stay open by completely disconnecting from the internet prior to launching.

Thanks for that update! Running windows updates now. Then will try working offline as well. Maybe the license authentication server is down or something...

That's what is is seeming like. One of our users did a clean uninstall/reinstall and can get it to work, but it asks him to authenticate again every time he opens it.

I was able to open and work offline as well. No crashes yet. At least a temporary solution. Thanks for the tip @SoldatoDragos !

It's a known issue that the Alteryx Support Team is working now. whitelist.alteryx.com issue 😉
