Alteryx running slow selecting tools and adding content to workflow

Hey

Certainly not one of my most complicated workflows, but the one I am working on at the minute is very slow...please can anyone make suggestions on how to speed it up - it feels like 15-20 seconds to move from one tool to the other.

Tried restarting and that didn't make any difference...yet to upgrade from 2021.3 but wondered if anyone had suggestions etc...

Its probably caused by the metadata refresh taking a long time to query your Inputs.  For more details and work arounds see the answer I posted here

I do have an SSD but only 16gb of ram, what is the recommended RAM. Unfortunately, I have a small form factor PC so don't think it is upgradeable... 😞
